The St. John #5, which reprints The Ziff-Davis #1, is labeled on the cover as Approved Comics #1, but inside as St. John #5. St. John #6 is labeled Approved Comics #7 on the cover but St. John # 6 inside. Plus it is all new stories. There is no #7 published by St John.

I thought Approved Comics was an imprint of Ziff-Davis. They must have sold the name to St. john along with the comics. Why in the world st. John would label comics this way I don't know.

Anyway, pretty nice art in these comics. A nice new discovery for me is Al Carreno. Several stories have nice art but haven't been ID'd.; August 3, 2009 at 10:04 PM

Find a dead link?

If you run across a file that is no longer accessible please leave a comment on the post. I may be able to upload it again. Also note if you come across a 'corrupt' file this is most likely do to a error while downloading (If it's a post older than a couple days you can guarantee that others have already downloaded it with good results or there would be other bad comments posted) Just try the download again but be sure to delete the corrupt one from your HD. also note you may want to restart your computer if your having troubles with a download site - cookies sometimes need to re set for some download sites. (Anonymous comments are OK)

Please Note: Some upload sites are only available to some areas (Countries) Sorry folks that's just the internet. Also some sites will make you wait for a few seconds before the download link is available. If you run into problems with a link you can try a few things - reload the page - check your computers cookies - try a reboot of your computer and then try again .
