Music: Yardbirds

The Yardbirds are an English rock band, noted for starting the careers of three of rock's most famous guitarists: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page, all of whom were in the top fifteen of Rolling Stone's Legendary 100 Top Guitarists list (Clapton as #4, Page as #9, and Beck as #14.) A blues-based band whose sound evolved into experimental rock, they had a string of hits including "For Your Love", "Over, Under, Sideways, Down" and "Heart Full of Soul". They were a crucial link between British R&B and psychedelia.

Music : Screamin' Jay Hawkins

Before Alice Cooper...Before KISS...Before Marilyn Manson

there was...Jalacy Hawkins, best known as Screamin' Jay Hawkins (July 18, 1929 – February 12, 2000) was an African-American singer. Famed chiefly for his powerful, operatic vocal delivery and wildly theatrical performances of songs such as "I Put a Spell on You" and "Constipation Blues," Hawkins sometimes used macabre props onstage, making him perhaps the first shock rocker.

Music : the Jeff Healey Band (Rock/Blues)

I'm in a music mood again.....
Time for a tune or two.. oh hell lets make it a bunch of albums in memorial of a great guitarist we lost this year . In my opinion he didn't get the reccognition he deserved when alive.
The Jeff Healey Band.

If your a fan of the blues or you like bands like ZZTop or Stevie Ray Vaughn give this guy a try.
Jeff Healey (born Norman Jeffrey Healey, March 25, 1966 – March 2, 2008) was a Canadian jazz and blues-rock guitarist and vocalist. Probably best known for his sit down style of playing the guitar (with it on his lap). How often do you see a blind white guy playing the blues with a rock edge? (at times he down right jams hard) Jeff and his band appeared in the film 'road house' as the house band.

Ross won a Grammy for his 1981 LP Rare Blues, and subsequently enjoyed a resurgence and much critical acclaim towards the end of his career.
