MOVIE: The Trouble with Women - 1959

Ironic and funny retro film made for the 50s working man and how to cope with those women who seem to be infiltrating the male workplace of America.

With such a provocative title, this film illustrates some of the perceived problems a supervisor might face working with women, but ultimately demonstrates where the real problem lies.

the tone for this film is set immediately at the beginning when brad walks up to a FEMALE employee and scolds her for not doing her job correctly.

the guy can't catch a break . female workers, a new assistant (a dame!), and his cigarette break is interrupted by a FEMALE employee notifying him of her departure due to marriage. of all the nerve!

the supervisor sets him straight when he says that "women can be darn good workers when you can't get a man." see, now brads seen the error of his ways. he just needs to think of women as second class citizens, that way he'll expect less of them.

i have a feeling brad's not married and/or he had a weird relationship with his mother.

fun, good film .
thanks for the review uncle slappy!

Trailer: Igor and the Lunatics

B-rated Grindhouse Horror/Thriller/Comedy - exploitation
(so bad it's comedy)
Warning this is only for true fans of extreme cheese
Igor and the Lunatics
Still Crazy After All These Years!
1985

Horror movie about a Charles Manson-like cult leader and his deranged, sex-mad, murderous followers who were captured and sent to prison, only to make probation 16 years later and launch a bloody revenge. Igor and his flock set out to smite the townspeople who sent them up, the former members who betrayed them to the law, and just about anyone else who gets in their way.

All I have is a VHS rip of the trailer and film which is watchable. Since I find this amusing I decided to upload the trailer and see what folks think.. take a peek and enjoy this bad movie trailer!

Comic: Body Bags #1-4 -1996

Warning mature themes:
Cool & controversial title from Dark Horse -4 issue mini-series from 1996

The initial mini series, simply entitled Body Bags, was a launch title for Dark Horse Comics' Blanc Noir line of books. Produced by Gaijin Studios in 1996, Body Bags includes a large amount of blood, violence and characters who enjoy killing and cursing, which is displayed in a number of scenes in the book that have been deemed "shocking". Pearson's use of an extremely voluptuous 14-year old caused the series to face a certain amount of controversy in the comics industry. Due to the controversy, Body Bags is promoted as "the most controversial comic of the 1990s"
