Comic: Lawbreakers Suspense Stories

Ah! Another Nice One From Charlton Here's Lawbreakers Suspense Stories #15 1953.

Thanks Dave, I missed this one. Giordano art in most of it.

Unfortunately, the writing is so bad I could only get through three stories. For example:

A mobster holding a gun in public in front of a briefcase says "Don't try anything, I have a gun behind this briefcase."

A man shoots another man in the passenger seat of his car and says "ha ha, got him with the first shot!" [even I could make that shot]

The shooter wants to dispose of the body and says he remembers something he read once. "It's dark now, just like that magazine yarn!"
Um, what yarn? He's going to crash into a parked truck. Anyone read this story and recognize the reference? It must have been very famous, unless the comic writer just made it up.

One story doesn't even have an ending! It ends with a door opening and someone saying "Didn't expect to see me did you?" Readers are asked to send in their own endings! Cripes, talk about lazy.

The second story about a husband and wife insurance swindle wasn't too bad.
