This is one of my single favorite issues of DC Comics Presents -- which I guess isn't saying much since all the Superman titles kinda sucked from about 1968-1985. But it is a stand-out because it featured a rare appearance by Kirby's Omac (and back in his original costume, not the inferior one Jim Starlin designed for him in the back pages of Kamandi). Classic George Perez pencils with surprisingly-well-suited inks by Pablo Marcos. I was never really a fan of Marcos but he proves to be one of the best inkers on Perez with this issue. And speaking of Starlin, what is it with that guy messing up Jack Kirby characters?! I assume he must be a big fan of Kirby but between redesigning Omac and killing off the New Gods I think he's done more damage than good. That's just my opinion.
