This one-shot, published by Eclipse Comics, features the Walter Mitty-like adventures of a prepubescent child struggling to make it through a typical day at a parochial grade school. Produced by the team of Don McGregor and Gene Colan, this tale stands the test of time as McGregor’s best non-super-hero work. Gene Colan’s fluid pencils are at their best when he renders children, capturing perfectly the nuances of children’s complex facial features. This hard to find book provides a compelling and whimsical look at growing up, captured perfectly in comic book form.
