Hello Steven, still got big hair huh? i did have back in the day and was in some rock/metal bands around town. those were some good day's. do you play guitar or any instrument? i have 7 elctric and one acoustic guitars but sadly my big hair went to almost no hair. they have pills to make everything grow bigger but no genius has come up with growing your hair back darn it!!

Dave, Im a drummer, started drumming at the age of 12 back in 1977 led zep was my favorite band so I modeled my drumming style after john bonhams. Most of my friends are guitarists so it works out. I also sing and play keyboards. I play classical music on keyboards completely different than my drumming. But when I drum I rock hard. I used to play with alot of the metal bands hollywood scene in the 80's opened for black and blue,l.a guns, great white, many of them back 1983-1986 along the sunset strip in california and the country club in reseda was a metal fest every weekend but I took a job working with the post office in 1986 so gave up that career as a drummer probably one of my biggest mistakes.

hairs longest now than its ever been havent had a hair cut now in 9 years not one strand has been cut so its very long. most of my life its been long but I did have it real short for awhile thinking maybe Id get more respect at work lets just say changing hair styles has nothing to do with who you are as I wasnt treated any better . so last few years I just let it grow and grow and grow and dont care what people think. I found the woman like it so who cares what men think

Hello Steven, i hear you man i would'nt cut my hair either except for the ocasional lite trim, just to get rid of spilt ends. i play drums as well (although i dont consider muyself a drummer) and a little bit of keyboards and used to sing lead and play guitar in the bands i was in. to bad we dont live close together it would be great to jam! as far as the music scene around here, not much happening these days. it seems kareoke and stuff like the rock band games have gone to the clubs and other venues instead of having live bands. that really sucks! i think the longest my hair was at one time was about half way down my back. wish i still had it. i have tons of original songs too but it looks like i'll never get to do anything with them. i had thought about putting some of them on line though. speaking of music did you ever get to check out hardforce.blogspot.com? Zen posted the link to this site awhile ago and it rocks! the site has no downloads itself but there are a ton of links to sites that do. thanks to Zen i have found all kinds of good stuff there, you should check it out. by the way Zep was one of my favorite bands also and Bonham was one of the best drummers ever. i found some rock &roll comics that i posted a little while ago and Led Zepplin was among them. my guitar style is pretty wide van halen, jimmy page (of course), joe satriani to name a few and for the heavier stuff i guess dave mustaine from megadeth. oh well it's been nice chatting with you.

theirs one cool band out now lez zeppelin LEZ its an all girl band check them out on you tube its a zep cover band I think eddie kramer produces them he did classic albums back in the 70's and late 60's hendrix and others. I found a download of theirs and it rocked. I like all girl bands as long as their good. the rock scene sucks here now too, bands have to pay to play im not in a band anymore but alot of my friends are still going. I just jame from time to time for fun. I love the guitar the most but I cant play it that well. also my singing isnt what it once was due to smoking for years I lost my voice, I finally quit smoking in october last year so 8-9 months im starting to breathe better now. I was getting emphasema

Hello Steven, same goes for me. i still jam when i can but just for fun and like you my voice is'nt what it used to be either due to smoking also. sadly i have'nt managed to quit them yet but i need to. thanks for the tip on the all girl band Lez. i will definately check that out. sound very cool. and for got to mention my favorite guitarist would have to be the late Randy Rhodes. i have tried to come as close that kind of stuff as i can and the results are similar to his playing but not a drone because my own style blends in to make it something different. there are still a few licks of his that have me stumped as for as playing covers. he was awesome. i'm mostly into my own music now days, as far as playing anyway's.

Yeah randy was one of the best and he died real young those two albums were the best ozzy did outside of black sabbath, sabbath is one of my favorite bands of all time so few bands are better then them in my eyes (except the beatles their number one to me). Its always best to do your own thing with music I think . Even when I play other peoples songs on the drums I have my own style and not copy anyone note for note. I think if the beat fits the song then its ok. Back then I used to have hearing loss with all my rockin and rollin we used to play so loud that I couldnt hear at all for two hours after the show. Seems ok now Im not as crazy as I used to be. I dont drink, do drugs anymore either but if a joint comes my way thats ok

even today sabbath still is around with dio singing they changed their name to heaven and hell. the power behind the band is incredible. Also dio is a legend too as old as he is he is approaching 70 now. he started in the late 50's singing doo wop then went to rockibilly then soft pop then psychedelic then boogie rock (elf) then metal/hard rock (rainbow, sabbath, dio)these guys are legends
