Tarzan the Untamed is filled with gorgeous Russ Manning artwork, reproduced from orignal art or photostats. Much better looking than the Dark Horse Magnus Robot Fighter Russ Manning reprints, which were just scans (in Hardcover!). Lost cities and races in the jungle, dinos, and Tarzan tosses a man-eating lion into a German WWI battle trench. Now that's action.

Tarzan the Beckoning is from Malibu Comics, who had the Tarzan franchise in the early nineties. Tarzan and Jane don't age, the action is modern with CIA torturers and ivory poachers. The complicated plot gets more confusing when some pages in #3 get out of order, and I just lost interest. Art is by Tom Yeates.
