Comic: A Moon, A Girl ... Romance

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Issue #9 from 1949 - this is from EC comics so it's a strong storyline.

Anyone have or know where to find the other issues from this series? Enjoy

This title was an odd example of the consequences of postal regulations in the late 40s. Starting a new comic with #1 meant paying new postal filing fees, so publishers did whatever they could to keep their existing permits.

#1 of this series was "Moon Girl and the Prince". #2-6 were "Moon Girl". #7-8 were "Moon Girl Fights Crime". #9-12 were "A Moon, A Girl...Romance".

#13-17 were "Weird Fantasy", and the Post Office finally said "Enough!" EC was forced to restart the magazine's numbering with the issue after #17... which became #6.

Anyway, the complete run of "A Moon, A Girl...Romance" would be only four issues, #9-12.

Hi Daniel thanks for the additional info - the stories change so much i thought they were totally different! EC sure had a bunch of tricks up their sleeves when it came to saving some postage funds!

Hey, that was my copy that I donated for scanning! I recognize the cover problems.
It's gone now, but you reminded me of a happier time.
Danke!

Old piles of good sh... stuff

These are spotlighted items - not always 'old' because of when they were made but rather these are things that were posted awhile ago on this blog and have been 'archived' in the back.

I hope you enjoy the site!
