Some stuff I think you might like but i didnt post!

OK I havent done a post like this before but I thought I'd give it a go. Here is a list of stuff Ive watched over the last year or so - most are somewhat obscure (Cult) and that's why I'm listing these as recommendations you might have missed. (and i highly doubt i will be uploading them in the future) Now I could have made this list huge but i tried to only list recent finds to me . these are all Video -TV or Movies. These can pretty much be found on most torrent sites.

TV
AfroSamurai - what do you get when you mix oldschool KungFu with Blaxploitation and then have Sam Jackson voice it? Perfection! You must at least try this cartoon out once! - violent with mature themes

Spawn the animated series - This was on HBO a few years back - even if you didnt like the movie you should check out this great series.- violent with mature themes

Dexter - A show about a Homicidal killer? Do not get the crappy edited versions - watch the showtime originals.. its worth it!- violent with mature themes

Dead Like Me - a fun qwerky show about a young grimm reaper. it lasted for a few years on cable and recently was revived for a movie. - a bit twisted but fun for most of the family.

Carnival - showtime series about a old carny... a must see for suspense great actiong. it also has some scifi and horror elements. Very well made. Mature themes

6 Feet Under - a HBO series about a family Mortuary. Allot of drama but done well and best of all the writing is usually twisted and has a sfifi/fantasy/horror edge. Mature themes

Ninja Warrior - a asain import sport show that has lasted several seasons now. This isnt MXC. Its real and all out. Safe for the whole family

Jane and the Dragon - one of the few recent cartoons that i always enjoy. Its aimed at a younger audience but i think any lover of scifi fantasy will enjoy it. Safe for any age. (British series?)

Police Woman - this old 70s TV show totally slipped my radar until this year.. check it out if you havent in the past or if you have take time to try an episode or two again - they hold up well with time.

Brisco County Jr - qwerky and silly action adventure series starring Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead) Western/Scifi - fun for the whole family. This was out a few years ago on Regular USA TV but i just recently caught it.

Penn and Teller BS - Magicians on a crusade to debunk the bunk. Part documentary and part rant with a little magic thrown in - and some laughs. They are carrying on what Houdini started. adult themes on some programs .


Movies
The Wrestler- Ok this is a big budget hollywood pic and has gotten allot of press but this isnt a film i would normally watch and hence why im posting this recommendation. IF your not into wrestling give it a try and you may be plesantly surprised by this gritty action/drama. R rated

Death Race 2000 - Even though most have heard of this film Im posting this cult classic just because i loved it for years. Dont be fooled by the wannabe remake (I recently watched the 08 version and it made me immediatly pull out the original again) R rated

Ichi the Killer - asain horror/kungfu/crime. If this movie doesnt spin your head nothing probably will - extreme gore. Adults only

Valley of Gwanji - Its dinosaurs and cowboys done by Harryhausen, what more needs to be said? I cant believe i didnt catch this as a kid. safe for the whole family

Cube - All ill say is stop reading and go and find this now. scifi horror -R rated

Comicbook Confidential - Documentary on the comic business . Includes History and politics. If you love comics get it now.

100 Years of Horror - Documentary on horror films throughout time.

Uzumaki (aka Vortex) very cool asian flick -scifi/horror (eng subtitle versions available)

Tetsuo the iron man - Very inventive horror/scifi indie. asain flick

Dog Soldiers - Fun Euro Horror werewolf flick

13 Ghosts - The original. This great retro fun - safe for the whole family

Shoot em up - Im not a fan of huge budget action films usually but this was balls out fun.

Vulgar - a clown with a different type of story - this movie seriously gave me the chills - not what youll expect. (from Kevin Smiths company - the guy who brought you Clerks and Jay and Silent Bob) strong adult themes.

Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. Candian exploitation horror musical with Jesus? Man this one if over the top and only for campy lovers of the extreme. Z grade flick.

Martin - One of the few Romero titles i hadnt seen till recently. Great Grindhouse vampire flick.

Die you Zombie Bastards - Whoa this one crosses the line and then jumps back and forth over it till the film stops rolling. Totally over the top gore and dirty kid humor - not for everyone. This is a adults only flick. Z grade Flick

Id also give a look at a few of the newer marvel animated movies - Invincible Iron man, Ultimate Avengers 1&2, Hulk Vs wolverine and thor.

Id also like to take a second and recommend the 2008 version of the live action Hulk movie - it didnt get the credit it deserved i think - check that out if you havent (much better than the previous attempt)

There is probably another 25 things i can think of but im going to stop here for now. Hope I turned you onto something new.
