I am going to meet Thor this spring

Did I get a job on the upcoming Avengers movie? Did I change my religion from Buddhist to Norse? Did I fall off the ladder and hit my head? Did my uncle slip me somemore of that orange sunshine he's been hiding since the 70s? Am I just pulling your leg ?

Actually me and the wife found out we're going to be having a baby boy. If you can't tell by now the names already picked . He is going to change allot of stuff around my place. You see me and my wife have been living together 14 years/8 married and we are rather set in our ways. Hell ...I just turned 40 and have been living the starving artist lifestyle for over 20 years. But this isn't really a new thing for me, you see I had a semi-brief first marriage in my teens and I already have 3 kids (2 of which have already made me a Grandpa! Ya ...we are a promiscuous family) But I am sure we will adapt to the situation nicely, especially since this time it wasn't a 'surprise' for me . Don't get me wrong - I am a happy camper.

You may ask 'why Thor'? Well I have been a fan of Thor since i was able to purchase my own comics (probably at 6 or 7 ), maybe it was because growing up in the 70's all the 'cool guys' had long hair or maybe it was just that 'viking stage' most boys get into some period of there lives. I'm really not sure but I did recently find a picture I drew back in 76 and it was of Thor (the first 'superhero' art of mine that I could find from my mom ) So I know I was hooked by 8 when I drew that. Plus that was the easiest name to get past my wife (Can you imagine the conversation about names like Wolverine,Frazetta and Skywalker? They were fun! ) we did make a compromise on the middle name - there will be several. (If you have a kid I totally recommend this choice of multiple names - it helps allot during that 'naming conversation' - trying to widdle down a list can be exhausting! Plus it seems like America is one of the few places people usually only have 3 names anyway. Screw it give em a string of names!)

Well that's what is going on in my life.. I need to get off the computer now - wifeys saying Ineed to go get more pickles and ice cream at the store.
