Movie: Side Show (1981) (TV)

Nick Pallas is a young runaway determined to make a life for himself in the circus. He quickly meets up with Harry who takes the youngster under his wing. Nick's speciality in the side show is puppeteering and is billed as the "World Youngest Puppeteer". His first day at the circus Red takes him around to meet all of the other side show attractions: midget couple Tom and Thelma Tiny, world's tallest woman Goliatha, sword swallower Excalibur, tattooed lady Paula Picasso, the Man Without a Face, and a few others like the woman with no limbs and some really fat lady. The side show folks are not to associate with the big top folks, and no one associates with the carny. Nick ignores this rule, however, much to the chagrin of the circus manager. He befriends Zaranov, the lion tamer, and falls in love with Graciela one of the main attractions. Things looks great for Nick, but he will soon discover things that aren't all that nice.

Movie:The Sin of Harold Diddlebock (1947)

This final film by silent screen star Harold Lloyd comes nine years after his previous feature.

In this film, that reprises a character portrayed by Lloyd in a 1925 film, it is shown what happened to our hero, Harold Diddlebock (Lloyd), twenty years after his big triumph on the college football field.
Struggling in the same job he received twenty years previous, Diddlebock is fired so he wanders the streets and eventually goes into a bar.
After drinking his first drink in his life, and a specially prepared drink in his honor, Diddlebock goes on a crazy rampage through town, buying things including a new wardrobe, a horse-drawn cab with cabby and also a circus.

They Foolishly Tried To Match Bullets With "The Kid"!

After Billy, Fuzzy and Jeff are rescued from a hanging by mysterious strangers, the countryside if terrorized by three men, posing as Billy, Fuzzy and Jeff. Sheriff Masters puts Billy and his pals on the trail of the impostors. The trail leads to Mesa City, an outlaw town run by Jim Stanton, under whose orders, three killers, Montana, Pete and Curly, have been robbing and murdering, disguised as Billy and his two sidekicks. Billy brings in the impostors but they are released by crooked-judge Clarke. Stanton makes henchman Red Barton the new sheriff, with orders to get Billy. Again assuming their disguises, Montana, Pete and Curly rob the stagecoach. And Billy, Fuzzy and Jeff have to begin again in the process of clearing their own names.
