Movie : Superman 1948 serial chapter1

Superman (1948) is a 15-part black-and-white Columbia film serial based on the comic book character Superman. It stars an uncredited Kirk Alyn (billed only by his character name, Superman) and Noel Neill as Lois Lane. It is notable as the first live-action appearance of Superman on film and for the longevity of its distribution. The serial was directed by Thomas Carr, who later directed many early episodes of the Superman television show, and Spencer Gordon Bennet, produced by Sam Katzman and shot in and around Los Angeles, California. It was originally screened at movie matinées and after the first three scene-setting chapters, every episode ends in a cliffhanger. If you run across a file that is no longer accessible please leave a comment on the post. I may be able to upload it again. Also note if you come across a 'corrupt' file this is most likely do to a error while downloading (If it's a post older than a couple days you can guarantee that others have already downloaded it with good results or there would be other bad comments posted) Just try the download again but be sure to delete the corrupt one from your HD. also note you may want to restart your computer if your having troubles with a download site - cookies sometimes need to re set for some download sites. (Anonymous comments are OK)
